Coptersafety’s compact training base was built for one job only – to make you a better pilot.
Our state-of-the-art training base combines efficiency with relaxation. Coptersafety is a uniquely shaped base, housing our fleet of simulators with multiple briefing rooms, classrooms, and lounges, in addition to our staff headquarters. Everything is contained under the same roof to allow for a smooth and efficient training day from the first briefing to the last debriefing.
fly from anywhere
Coptersafety is based in Finland, the happiest country in the world known for its thousands of lakes, reindeer, Santa Claus and more, not that you’ll see any of it. To maximize your training, we’re just 4 minutes from Helsinki International Airport. With over 130 direct flights, we’re easily accessible from anywhere in the world. It’s in and out. With the highest standards in between.
Arriving
You can take a taxi straight from the airport, follow the signs outside. Taxis in Finland are expensive, but they will not rip you off. The short trip should cost between 10-20€.
Our address is nearly impossible for many, so you can show your taxi driver the address below and tell them to drive up the steep hill all the way to the top.

train efficiently
Our modern and well-organized training base allows pilots and instructors to focus on the training completely. Designed for efficiency at every step. It takes less than a minute to get from the briefing room to the simulator. Pilot training is an investment that should bring in returns through improved safety performance and efficiency while distracting day-to-day business as little as possible.
recharge efficently
Outside of the simulator bay, the base incorporates Nordic design for our Finnish roots. With a wall of floor to ceiling windows, pilots can relax to a view of Finnish nature. We believe that for efficient training, pilots need to relax. Our lounge areas are inviting, with many spaces for socializing or taking a nap. We have a sauna, allowing you to experience at least one Finnish activity while here, even if you don’t have time for anything else.
