COPTERSAFETY ORDERS TWO NEW FULL FLIGHT SIMULATORS FROM REISER SIMULATION & TRAINING

COPTERSAFETY ORDERS TWO NEW FULL FLIGHT SIMULATORS FROM REISER SIMULATION & TRAINING

Coptersafety and REISER Simulation and Training GmbH (REISER) have signed an order agreement for two new Level D Full Flight Simulators for Coptersafety’s facility adjacent to Helsinki International Airport. The new simulators will expand on Coptersafety’s current selection of Airbus Helicopters aircraft models.

Coptersafety has ordered a H175 Full Flight Simulator. This will be one of the first H175 Level D Full Flight Simulators for commercial use. Coptersafety H175 FFS will be equipped with the latest version of Helionix and will include all relevant supplements and features for typical offshore and SAR missions.

Additionally, a second H145 Level D Full Flight Simulator will be added to Coptersafety’s fleet to meet the demands for training from H145 operators. Coptersafety’s new H145 D3 FFS will also be equipped with the latest version of Helionix. The configuration of the simulator will support typical HEMS and other operations, such as hoisting missions.

“I’m thrilled to announce this project in cooperation with REISER. The Airbus Helicopters’ H145 fleet is quickly growing and so is the need for additional H145 simulator training capacity. As our next new simulator type, we’ve chosen the Airbus Helicopters’ H175 due to the growing fleets of super-medium types. With these new simulators, we will extend our customer base to a new type and add much-needed capacity to the H145 training market. Both FFS will have a wide selection of options and features with the newest versions of avionics to ensure that our customers can have the best possible training available in the market.” says Toni Rönnberg, COO of Coptersafety.

”We are absolutely proud to provide Coptersafety with an additional H145 Level D full-flight simulator. This cooperation not only reflects the trust in our capabilities but also underscores the quality and experience we bring to the table,” says Dr. Johannes Hain, CEO of REISER Simulation and Training. “But what sets this project apart is the H175 simulator – a pioneering leap for both companies. Developing one of the world’s first H175 Level D full-flight simulators from the ground up is not just an engineering achievement—it is a statement of what is possible when innovation meets purpose. We are doing something exceptional by designing and building a most realistic training environment for the H175 helicopter platform. We are more than proud to help fill a gap in training availability and advance sustainability by offering ultra-realistic simulated training.”

With a dedication for safety, this project between the European companies will further strengthen the simulation and training solutions for operators worldwide. Both simulators will be certified to EASA and FAA Level D, along with other major Aviation authorities such as UK CAA, TC, and GACA.
