Coptersafety’s H145 D-2 full flight simulator has been qualified to Level-D by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Simulator Program (NSP). Level-D qualification is only assigned to full-flight-simulators that meet the highest standards of the FAA. This is the first H145 D-2 simulator qualified by the FAA outside the United States, as well as the first H145 D-2 qualified for NVG training tasks outside the United States.

HELSINKI, FINLAND, October 20, 2022 – Coptersafety’s H145 D-2 full flight simulator has been qualified to Level-D by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Simulator Program (NSP).

Level-D qualification is only assigned to full-flight-simulators that meet the highest standards of the FAA. This is the first H145 D-2 simulator qualified by the FAA outside the United States, as well as the first H145 D-2 qualified for NVG training tasks outside the United States.

THE FIRST H145 D-2 SIMULATOR QUALIFIED BY THE FAA OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES

Coptersafety’s H145 Level-D full flight simulator is currently equipped with HelionixStep 2 avionics. It offers immersive and realistic training features such as cockpit vibration, smoke generation, 3D clouds, night and NVIS/NVG visual scenes. Scenarios can be taken from known geographical locations and landing sites by creating scenes in a wide variety of gaming areas and fields of operation. Different visual environments in known geographic locations and landing sites can be customized by our in-house visual model team based on customer requests.

Pilots and crews can now book to train in our FAA qualified Level-D H145 D-2 full flight simulator for all their training, testing, and checking, as well as NVG training tasks, among others. Look for additional FAA Part 142 course to become available in the near future.

COPTERSAFETY’S AW139 SIMULATOR QUALIFIED BY FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA)

HELSINKI, FINLAND, October 26, 2022 – Coptersafety’s TRU AW139 full flight simulator has been qualified to Level-D by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Simulator Program (NSP). Level-D qualification is only assigned to full-flight-simulators that meet the highest standards of the FAA.

It offers immersive and realistic training features such as cockpit vibration, smoke generation, 3D clouds, night and NVIS/NVG visual scenes. Scenarios can be taken from known geographical locations and landing sites by creating scenes in a wide variety of gaming areas and fields of operation. Different visual environments in known geographic locations and landing sites can be customized by our in-house visual model team based on customer requests.

Pilots and crews can now book to train in an FAA qualified Level-D AW139 full flight simulator for tasks such as Airborne Radar Approaches, Offshore Standard Approach Procedures, and NVG training tasks, among others. Additionally, pilots can attend one of Coptersafety’s FAA Part 142 approved AW139 Type Rating, ATP, or Recurrent training courses.

Martin Berner becomes Coptersafety’s Chief Flight InstructorHelicopter training service provider Coptersafety has announced a new appointment to support its mission in helping helicopter operators minimize the risk of accidents.

HELSINKI, FINLAND– Martin Berner has been appointed Coptersafety’s Chief Flight Instructor.

ENHANCING THE SAFETY OF HELICOPTER OPERATIONS WORLDWIDE

Martin has an extensive career as a pilot, instructor, and examiner. In fact, he has been involved with Coptersafety since the very beginning.

I have been on board with Coptersafety since the beginning of this journey. I, as also many others, have seen and participated in the development during the years. We have been successful and able to produce services which have been appreciated by our customers. With the introduction of new products, as instructors, we have also increased our own level of knowledge.
